Nick Cannon And Amber Rose Discuss Their Support For Donald Trump

A recent episode of Nick Cannon’s Big Drive podcast has gone viral after both Cannon and Amber Rose shared polarizing views on American politics, sparking widespread reaction across social media.

The conversation was driven largely by Rose, who opened up about her shift in political alignment, explaining why she moved away from the Democratic Party. “Democrats don’t care about Black people. They don’t care about people of color,” she said during the interview, adding that Republicans are often misunderstood in that regard.

Rose also clarified that her stance is not tied to blind loyalty, noting that she is not committed to any single party despite supporting Donald Trump in recent elections. “I’m not married to any party… I voted for Trump because we had two options, and he was the better option,” she said.

Cannon echoed several of her sentiments, agreeing with her critique and adding his own controversial take, referring to Democrats as the “party of the KKK” while pointing to Republicans’ historical role in ending slavery.

Despite aligning with some of Rose’s views, Cannon made it clear that he does not fully identify with either political party. “I don’t subscribe to either party,” he said, referencing W. E. B. Du Bois’ perspective that America’s political system operates as “one party with two different names.”

The discussion also turned to former President Donald Trump, with both Cannon and Rose expressing support for aspects of his leadership. Cannon described Trump as “cleaning house,” while Rose said she agrees with many of his actions since returning to office.

The episode has since generated strong reactions, with critics challenging the historical framing of their comments, particularly regarding the evolution of political parties over time. Others, however, have supported their willingness to speak openly about political independence and skepticism toward the two party system.

As the clip continues to circulate, the conversation between Cannon and Rose highlights how celebrity voices are increasingly shaping and influencing political discourse, whether praised or criticized.
