Lil Zay Osama Among Six Facing Fed Charges for Home Invation

Rapper Lil Zay Osama is facing federal charges after a home invasion in Winnetka, a suburb of Chicago.

According to The Chicago Tribune, an indictment revealed Osama, born Isaiah Dukes, will await trial after a four-hour hearing in Rockford, IL. Lil Zay was arrested alongside Khiell Dukes, Anthony Ramsey, Dashun Brown, David Franklin and Jalen Chambers.

Khiell is Osama’s brother and Ramsey is the half-brother. All men have entered a plea of not guilty.

During the robbery, one of the men positioned themselves as a food delivery driver, then all the offenders entered the home at gunpoint seeking access to a safe, a computer and online accounts holding cryptocurrency.

In 2022, Lil Zay Osama was convicted of misdemeanor unlawful possession of a firearm. In 2023, he was convicted of one felony charge of aggravated fleeing and eluding a police officer after sparking a car chase. In 2024, Osama was sentenced to 14 months in prison after he pleaded guilty to possessing an illegal machine gun while in New York City.

He will return to court on May 12.
