In celebration of National Ice Cream Day, global burger and shake destination Black Tap officially unveiled its newest over-the-top dessert innovation: the CrazySundae.
Ahead of the July 19 holiday, Black Tap hosted an exclusive preview event on July 16 at its Midtown flagship location. New York City’s food, lifestyle, and social communities gathered to get the very first taste of the brand’s latest indulgent lineup. Against a backdrop of nostalgic dessert-inspired décor and high-energy hip-hop vibes, guests enjoyed signature burgers, craft cocktails, and an interactive evening of content creation.
Over-the-Top, Shareable Indulgence
Expanding on the global virality of their iconic CrazyShakes, Black Tap’s new CrazySundaes are oversized, shareable, and visually spectacular. Priced at $23 each, the new creations are now available at both New York City locations: Midtown (45 W. 35th Street) and SoHo (529 Broome Street).
The debut lineup features three distinct flavor profiles:
- Strawberry Glazed CrazySundae: Creamy vanilla ice cream layered with sweet strawberry sauce, fresh strawberries, and strawberry cake crumbs, finished with whipped cream and topped with an entire glazed doughnut.
- Churro Hot Fudge CrazySundae: Vanilla ice cream smothered in Mexican hot fudge and dulce de leche, topped with crushed Cinnamon Toast Crunch, warm churros, cinnamon sugar cookies, whipped cream, and a cherry.
- Cherry Bomb CrazySundae: A playful twist on cherry pie à la mode pairing vanilla ice cream with tangy sour cherry sauce, real cherry pie pieces, buttery pie crumble, whipped cream, and cherries.
