Legendary Hip Hop group De La Soul has released the official video for “Run It Back!!” featuring Nas, a standout from their critically acclaimed tenth studio album, Cabin in the Sky, via Mass Appeal.
Produced by Supa Dave West and De La Soul, the track brings Posdnuos and Nas together to reflect on Hip Hop’s past, present and future.
The visual begins in Amityville, Long Island, where De La Soul’s story began, before traveling to Queens to connect with Nas. Featuring Posdnuos, Maseo and Nas amid a stylized police chase, the video blends technology, photography, color and visual effects into a moving collage.
“Run It Back!!” appears on the 20-track Cabin in the Sky, De La Soul’s first studio album in nine years and part of Mass Appeal’s Legend Has It series.
