The collaborative efforts between Kendrick Lamar and Nike have resulted in some serious heat, mainly with the Championship Tour capsule collection that arrived back in August and more specifically the fan-favorite Nike Cortez Kenny III . Thankfully, those weren’t the only pieces we’ll see from the Swoosh and TDE’s platinum-selling rap star, starting with an updated slip-on iteration of the Cortez silhouette.
K. Dot’s new Basic Slip colorway adds a little cozy boy swag to the sneaker world, opting for a primarily white upper that includes “Wolf Grey”, “Thunder Blue” and simple orange accents. The pull string on the heel and padded tongue are some of the standout features, and Kendrick even adds in a little Los Angeles rap lingo with a “House Shoes” detailing included in the mix as well.
