Hip-Hop Artist Fleacoo has been creating a name for himself in the music industry lately. The Atlanta-born rapper has been remarkably consistent throughout his career, dropping a pair of albums and EP’s in just a 2-year window. His strong delivery and unorthodox production selection set him apart from most artists. His smooth flow and production create a sound that Atlanta has not seen. Usually, rappers from Atlanta sound like other Atlanta rappers, but Fleacoo sounds like himself, and that’s special.
Fleacoo has been grinding for some time now. When asked how he got his musical start, he said, “Basically I been making music my whole, I just always had it naturally & being that my older brother is an engineer/producer I kind of always had an advantage, but as far as creating body’s of work on a serious note I’d say like 2016.” It has been a long time coming for him, and now it seems like his time is near. 2021 was very promising for him and 2022 will prove to be great. He raps with a huge chip on his shoulder and it’s evident we asked him what his motivation is and he said, “More than anything, my family. I want to show my son a way. I want to show him you can literally make it happen…and not just all the flashy stuff either. Simply just because everything has a process and if you stick with it and do your best it’ll work out eventually. Also, I don’t want my mom to work! Really nobody in my family but I definitely want to retire my mom. She deserves it. She’s been working so hard my whole life. She not hurting or anything, but I most def gotta get her right and let her live her best life.” Having a goal of making sure everyone in his family is debt-free and taken care of is a goal only bosses have the guts to chase and Fleacoo has it in his blood.
Fleacoo says he is usually a homebody because he likes to stay locked in. He said that at a very young age, he knew he would be somebody, but it was going to take endless work to get there. He has done several 100’s of thousands of streams and has accumulated over 34k monthly listeners on Spotify, but he’s just getting started. Now more than ever, Fleacoo can taste the mainstream success getting closer. He wishes to one day collaborate with the legendary Pharrell and even said, “I feel like I & Pharrell would screw the world up completely.” Next for him and his career is working with his friends, growing his brand, and bringing his ideas to life. Fleacoo is one of the most underrated artists of 2022 and has so much ahead of him.
