Police apprehend a suspect in connection with last weeks shooting.
It’s been a little less than a week since French Montana’s tour bus was targeted in a shooting. Today, the WSJ is reporting that police have taken 20-year old, Frank Briggs, into custody and is facing a slew of charges. Those charges range from murder, attempted murder, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and firearms crimes.
Police reports are claiming Briggs opened fire on a crowd outside of the Bad Boy Records artist tour bus. The shooting took place outside of hotel for an after-party. Following his show in Philadelphia’s Theater of the Living Arts, French Montana and his tour bus were targeted in a drive-by shooting outside of a Holiday Inn.
French continues to deny any involvement in the shooting.
We will continue to update as more information comes available.
