Earl Sweatshirt of the group Odd Future has announced his major label and highly anticipated solo debut album “Doris.”
The Columbia Records backed album is named after his late grandmother and is set to drop on August 20th 2013. Earl collaborated with fellow memebers of Oddfuture such as Frank Ocean, Domo Genesis and Tyler, The Creator. Other Los Angeles based rappers to appear on the album include Vince Staples, Casey Veggies and Mac Miller.
Producers Pharelle, RZA, Tyler, The Creator and BADBADNOTGOOD were all a big part of producing the album.
Along with the announcement of Earls debut LP, the Los Angeles star will appear on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on August 8th. He will begin his tour with Eminem, Mac Miller and Kendrick Lamar starting today at The Dome in Wallingford, CT.
