September 10th draws nearer
2 Chainz‘ second album in as many years, Based On A T.R.U. Story II: Me Time, is slated to be released this Tuesday, and with “Feds Watching” & “Netflix” slowly gaining traction, Chainz’ decided to hit us with a banger yesterday, dropping his Drake & Lil’ Wayne featured new single. The song, produed by D. Rich, serves as a sequel to “No Lie” complete with braggadocios raps from all parties, especially 2 Chainz, who serves up some witty life chronicles.
“I get so much money on the first, I take the third off.”
While Drake isn’t at his sharpest on the energetic cut, his flow matches the beat at every sharp turn, and the interjection of Lil’ Wayne, who trades verses with Drizzy for most of the latter half of the song, makes the entire ordeal worthwhile. Listen to “I Do It”, and get 2 Chainz’ sophomore solo effort this coming Tuesday.
