Gucci ManeApparently, some rappers can’t separate lyrics from their everyday life. Atlanta rapper, Gucci Mane, is no exception. Since busting on the scene in 2005 with his release of Trap Music, Gucci has had his share of run-in’s with police. It’s 2014  and Gucci is still beefing with cops. He’s currently in jail and facing federal weapons possession and a 20-year sentence. On Rick Ross’, “War Ready(remix),” Gucci explains that he’s not just a rapper, he raps, “Say Gucci go a murder one/ I killed a man, allegedly/I’m not the average celebrity/can’t let you get the best of me.”

Ross’ original “War Ready” features Young Jeezy, who was once involved in a beef with Gucci. In 2006, Gucci was acquitted of murdering Jeezy’s friend, Pookie Loc.

Recently, Rick Ross and Jeezy squashed their beef. It seems to be the season for beef squashing (Nas and Cam’ron recently made amends).  If Gucci Mane comes home, hopefully he and Jeezy can put their differences aside and give fans a dose of Trap music.
