The Rythmatic Eternal King Supreme is back at it. The Boston native rhyme-slayer, REKS, linked up with Queens super-producer Hazardis Soundz and DJ Deadeye to bring us their latest project, All Eyes On REKS. This tape will serve as the preview to the duo’s upcoming studio album, Eyes Watching God.
Here in the underground, REKS releases are all highly anticipated, but this one has been on the radar for a very long time. Fans all over the world have been hyping this it while REKS toured internationally, spreading it’s forthcoming gospel.
All Eyes On REKS gets down to the nitty gritty of what Hip Hop is; hardcore lyrics and boom bap sounds. Features come from Ea$y Money, City Boy Dee, Ekko, EZ Dread, Superstah Snuk, N.O.R.E., Termanology, Wais P and more. Noteworthy production credits include The Arcitype, The Audible Doctor, Knowledge Medina, Kobe Beatz and Numonics. Go back and re-read those names for me, I’ll wait. Every aspect of this project is Hip Hop in its purest form.
