Fif is really back.
50 Cent‘s new album, Animal Ambition, will be in stores very soon (June 3rd), and in case you haven’t noticed, he’s quite hungry. He’s released several music videos in anticipation of the release, and he’s gone on probably the most memorable press run in recent history, making him the most talked about rapper in the game, so it pretty much feels like 2004-2005 again.

Few are complaining, and while 50 hasn’t managed to completely re-capture the bravado and sonic charisma that made him the biggest songwriter in the rap game for a decent part of the previous decade, he’s certainly, be it ephemerally or not, returned to the essence of what made him 50 Cent in the first place: good lyrics over dope beats.
