The French have “C’est la vie.” New Yorkers own “So it goes.” The kids who probably vandalized your property and skated all over it drop off a new video from their debut album, So It Goes. The video for their title track is a hodgepodge of old film clips, sights in NYC, and Ratking doing what they do best in a dim room full of old TVs. But all of this is expected as the visuals need to keep up with the quick, grim lyrics from Wiki and Hak. New York Hip-Hop isn’t dead. It just changed clothes and moved on. This is one of its new outfits.
