Jessica Ewing gets 45 years for killing a girl she had sex with
What would you do if you asked someone out on a date and they showed up severely under-dressed? Tell them off? Swallow your pride and go anyway? Demand that they go back home and change? Maybe hang out with them and delete their number afterwards? All understandable reactions. Would you kill them? Probably not.
Tell that to Jessica Ewing.
The 24-year old former Virginia Tech student has been sentenced to 45 years in jail after she murdered Samanata Shrestha in Shrestha’s apartment. According to People, Ewing showed up in a dress and with a bottle of wine, only to find Shrestha lounging in sweatpants, which was the first thing that ticked her off. After a casual evening that included sex, Shrestha admitted to Ewing that she was merely “experimenting” with her, which really rubbed Ewing the wrong way.
I loved Sam – I couldn’t believe she would say that I was some experiment to her. It hit me where I was most hurt.
Ewing called Shrestha a “spoiled b*tch,” and the two got into a physical altercation, resulting in Ewing strangling the girl she loved to death. In February, Ewing plead guilty to first-degree murder, and today was sentenced to 45 years behind bars.
