For the first time in the publication’s history, a man appears on MAxim’s cover
The summer just got a little hotter for women around the world. British actor Idris Elba graces the cover of Maxim Magazine‘s September issue, which makes him the first man to cover the mag by himself.
Maxim, famous for featuring gorgeous celebrity women wearing outfits that barely leave anything to the imagination, used the British heartthrob as the cover model due the rumors and speculation of him succeeding Daniel Craig as James Bond once Craig retires from the role.
Editor-In-Chief of Maxim, Kate Lanphear told Racked.com, “This is the very first time, there is no one else in the world more badass than Idris.”
Although we don’t know if Idris Elba will be the next Bond, you can catch him in the upcoming drama “Beasts of No Nation,” where he plays a mercenary.
