But just know it’ll be January in no time -Drake, “30 for 30”

That line, from the closing song of Drake and Future‘s September What a Time to be Alive album, was a vague foreshadowing of when Drake planned to finally kick-off Views From the 6, his first proper LP since 2013’s Nothing Was the Same. He almost didn’t make it, but alas, today was the day.

After hinting on Twitter early this morning that this episode of OVO Sound Radio would be quite special, Drake–along with Oliver El-Khatib, who forms the newly minted October Firm with Drizzy–dropped new music. You can listen to “Summer Sixteen,” on Apple Music right here, which Drizzy teased on his Instagram just before OVO Sound kicked off at 6 p.m. ET.

February is shaping up to be a special month. Rihanna’s ANTI roll-out will continue, Kanye’s 7th album has a 2/11 release date, and Views is on the horizon.
