Sacramento Kings big man DeMarcus Cousins was out at a Tampa nightclub partying with his brother Jaleel Cousins last night when things went left. Per TMZ Sports, both men were at The Drynk SoHo when they attempted to get into the DJ booth and security was having none of it. Things escalated quickly and Jaleel ended up throwing a punch during the incident. Someone else who was partying with the brothers grabbed DeMarcus, getting him away before police arrived.
The police showed up on the scene and tried to arrest Jaleel but claim he was resisting arrest, proceeding to taser him until he was able to be taken into custody. Jaleel Cousins was booked on misdemeanor battery and resisting arrest. Police did go on to clarify that DeMarcus was not involved in the melee. Jaleel just completed his senior season at the University of South Florida where he was a center on the basketball team. Watch the clip below.
