Steph Curry Debuts “MVP Back 2 Back” Pack With Under Armour

On Tuesday [May 10] Steph Curry made history yet again by becoming the first NBA player to get every single first place vote during the MVP balloting, making him the first ever unanimous Most Valuable Player in NBA History. After getting word of the news, Under Armour wasted no time debuting the look of Steph Curry’s new “MVP Back 2 Back Pack” honoring his second consecutive year at being the NBA overall season MVP.

The “MVP Back 2 Back Pack” included last year’s “MVP Under Armour Curry 1” with a new colorway more similar to the personalized pair Steph Curry wears on the court. The Under Armour Curry 2 has “MVP” stamped across the tongue making this pair unique with a black and gold colorway.

Although the release of these special edition Steph Curry’s were rather sudden, fans wasted no time in purchasing the $400 package for pre-order which completely sold out in less than two days. Fortunately, for those who didn’t catch them the first time they will officially drop in stores on June 24 shortly after the completion of the NBA Finals Championship.

Thanks to Steph Curry, Under Armour’s sales growth has increased by 25 percent since last year with increase in stock, shares, and profits as well. In addition to the two pack dropping in stores this summer, Under Armour is celebrating Steph’s outstanding achievement with a Men’s Back 2 Back MVP Steph Curry shirt for $35.
