The new version of the 1972 film, SUPERFLY introduced a certified blaxploitation classic to a new generation.  Lex Scott Davis (“Training Day”) and Jennifer Morrison (“Once Upon a Time”) star in the story of a successful young drug dealer who sets up one last job in hopes of retiring while dealing with a team of unavoidable obstacles. Hailing from directing legendary music videos for the elite artists, Director X puts an Atlanta spin on the remake and calls in rapper Future to produce the soundtrack. ‘I wanted to hand the music to someone who would have the vision. That would understand the world and could make a commentary on it and there’s only one person and it’s Future.’
