For 2013, Hyundai is releasing their redesigned Genesis Coupe with a brand new face lift and a larger output in the engine bay. The revamped 3.8 liter V6 engine is putting out about 350hp compared to its predecessor which put out barely over 300hp. The lower base model still packs a punch with a inline-4 cylinder turbocharged engine putting out about 280hp to the crank. The car will either come with a beefy 6-speed manual transmission, or an 8-speed automatic with paddle shifting. The 8-speed will come standard on the Grand Touring option which also is accompanied by leather interior and a sunroof. The top model, which is called the Track package, includes a better suspension, Brembo brake kit, and larger 19-inch wheels. This new Genesis is sure to help Hyundai out in its competion against the rear wheel drive coupes.
