Young North Carolina rhymesmith King Mez follows up his impressive performance on the J.Cole-produced “The Allure,” with a video for another strong showing titled “Reign.” On his compelling new offering Mez reiterrates the destiny he holds to be true in this rap game of thrones spittin’, “I just want that throne, It don’t gotta be the main one, long as anyone livin’ don’t got the same one.” The emcee’s solo debut project, My Everlasting Zeal, arrives later this month and should be full of more mighty raps and regal delivery.
