In an interview with CNN today Jay-Z spoke on his support of President Barack Obama and his stance on gay marriage.
“I’ve always thought it as something that was still, um, holding the country back… What people do in their own homes is their business and you can choose to love whoever you love. That’s their business. [It] is no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple.”

Jay-Z isn’t the first major rapper to come out in support of gay marriage. In a 2010 interview with the New York Times, Eminem was quoted on his stance stating, “I think if two people love each other, then what the hell?… I think that everyone should have the chance to be equally miserable, if they want.”
