Because of the 5th Anniversary of Woei ‘Patta’s et Pret a Porter’, Woei and Asics have collaborated to take on the Gel Lyte III mode, which is the most popular sneaker Asics brand has produced.
The collab prompted some remodelling on the shoe, including the replacement of the standard upper eyelets with metal trail hooks, zig-zag stitching on the toebox, and a little pop of 3M here and there, to add something special to the brand new color scheme.
Woei and Asics will give the fans a unique experience on June 23 by introducing a ‘one day only’ outdoor-inspired store takeover. The first 100 customers in-line will also be rewarded with a special pack that includes a tee and a customised Woei shoebox. On the 30th of June the Asics x Woei project will drop at selected retailers throughout Europe. The global release will be on the 7th of July 2012.
