Roaming these e-streets on a daily basis, D-WHY is one of many names that may have caught your eye but you never to click play for (it happened to me). I decided to donate just under four minutes of my existence to the West Virginia native’s latest track, “Crave You,” and while it neither demonstrates lyrical excellence or brilliant ignorance (my two favorite kinds of hip-hop), there’s no denying that the rapper with a steady blog presence has one helluva catchy tune on his hands that more than appeals to a substansial demographic.
“Crave You” is the rapper’s original take on the “Flight Facilities (Remix)” by Aeroplane and Friendly Fire. The track is a left field creation for many hip-hop fans that should draw some new eyes and ears on D-WHY before he release his Don’t Flatter Yourself project which is coming soon.
