The NBA Fit Clinic for The Children’s Aid Society Dunlevy Milbank Boys & Girls Club in Harlem had a great turnout yesterday. As the youth of Harlem sat in the gymnasium waiting to see the NBA draftees, NBA legend Bob Lanier introduced the players one-by-one as they ran out to greet the crowd.

NBA draftees in attendance were Anthony Davis, Thomas Robinson, Harrison Barnes, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Austin Rivers, Tyler Zeller, Jeremy Lamb, and Meyers Leonard.

After warming the kids up with run, jump, and skip drills; the draftees went outside to the school yard to test the kids’ shooting, dribbling, and rebounding skills. During the skills session, the draftees emphasized the importance of staying fit, active, and healthy by working out every day.

At the end of the skill session, a few lucky kids got the chance to stand before their basketball idols and ask the players questions. Most of the questions asked regarded how the players plan to adjust to playing against superstars like LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, and Kevin Durant.
