Today, in a landmark 5:4 decision during a very political season, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in favor of President Barack Obama’s “ObameCare”. Obama Health Care Reform Bill is a plan to reform the American Health Care System by providing affordable health care to all Americans. The bill is, if it passes, will ensure that all Americans are covered by the health care industry. The bill will reform the way the current system works requiring that all Americans purchase a health care plan from a provider. Americans not wishing to purchase health insurance from a provider covered under the Health Care For America Plan will be able to purchase private insurance.Although passed by the Court and backed by Obama supporters; conservatives and Mitt Romney supporters alike are seeing red and looking forward to pushing a campaign to repeal it on July 11.
The Associated Press released a statement regarding the political uproar:
The Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the individual insurance requirement at the heart of President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul. The decision means the historic overhaul will continue to go into effect over the next several years, affecting the way that countless Americans receive and pay for their personal medical care. The ruling also handed Obama a campaign-season victory in rejecting arguments that Congress went too far in requiring most Americans to have health insurance or pay a penalty. Chief Justice John Roberts announced the court’s judgment that allows the law to go forward with its aim of covering more than 30 million uninsured Americans.
