On Thursday, June 28th, Ma Barker — perhaps best known as the former wife of a certain rapper — stopped by the Harlem Haberdashery (245 Lenox Avenue, bet. 123rd & 124th Streets) to do a photoshoot with Scott Church. Church, whose work has appeared in Playboy, Cosmopolitan, & Men’s Health Magazines — amongst others — was, earlier that day, Tweeted by Cee-lo Green of The Voice, who said, “Scott Church is an outstanding photographer. I am proud to have his art in my home!”
Barker, who currently has an official remix of “Riot” featuring 2 Chainz & 50 Cent burning up the college radio charts, was joined by rappers Hontiss, Sour Gang, & JAYO Da CEO for a night that was part of the Tastemaker Thursdays weekly event, hosted by 5001 Flavors clothing line. This week, the wine bar was sponsored by Cafe Toscano of West Palm Beach, FLA. Also enjoying the wine & ambiance were porn star Natasha Starr and clothing designer Mustache Pete.
Later that evening, hip-hop superstar Fabolous stopped by to show some love, enjoy some wine, & purchase some clothes for his upcoming Los Angeles trip. We salute Loso for supporting local businesses!
