Dexter’s journey with his dark passenger ends with Season 8
After months of speculation in regards to the future of Showtime’s hit series Dexter (Michael C. Hall) , it has finally been announced that the serial killer drama will conclude after its run this summer. Despite increased ratings with each season, a fitting ending for the conflicted Dexter has been on the forefront of everyone’s mind. Season 7 of Showtime’s first major hit drama followed the fallout of Dexter’s sister Debra (Jennifer Carpenter) discovering his true identity.
Season 7 broke records for the original series but despite the great success of the show, everyone has deemed it time to take the show into a final direction. Showtime released a first sneak peak of the upcoming season which can be viewed below.
Dexter’s Finale Season will being June 30th.
