Tom Cruise will continue to cash in on the commercially and critically successful “Mission Impossible” franchise.
Following the success of “Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol,” which earned a total of $700 million worldwide and became critically acclaimed, Paramount has officially announced that Tom Cruise will reprise his role as Ethan Hunt as well as produce “Mission Impossible 5.”
At this time a writer, director and a start date have yet to be announced but Cruise will be producing alongside J.J. Abrams. It is rumored that Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton and Ving Rhames will also be reprising their roles alongside Cruise.
Tom Cruise recently starred in the Sci-Fi action pic “Oblivion,” and continues to prove age won’t stop this action hero from kicking some ass.
