No denying this. From the opening string solo, to the intermittent knocking of Timbaland’s drum orientation, and his low murmuring of “tell me what you want” in the background help Jamie Foxx‘s 2005 “Can I Take U Home” single make fans of classic Aaliyah nostalgic of the late 90’s. Not denying that Jamie’s a great artist, but he didn’t have to be one to turn this into a hit.
