On Rihanna‘s latest album, the platinum-selling Unapologetic, on “Jump”, the pop singer referenced Ginuwine‘s 1996 chorus for “Pony” verbatim, which proved to be a party-starter, establishing itself as a fan favorite on her most recent tour, the Diamonds World Tour. This just about proves just how huge that one song was for Ginuwine, and Timbaland, for that matter. Following the success of “One In A Million”, “Pony”, all but cemented Timbaland as the go-to-guy for r&b hits forthwith.
