Rihanna and Shady are no strangers to domestic violence, which makes their collaboration “Love The Way You Lie” so strange. Abuse is never condone by anyone, and the victim mentality probably shouldn’t be glamorized in songs. However, this song made it to the top of the charts extremely fast. Rihanna sang a chorus that talked about not leaving, but wanting to, feeling trapped in a dangerous situation. It was a little prophetic and extremely disconcerting. They do make a pretty solid duo.
