God on Kanye West’s “I Am A God”
There was enough buzz about Kanye West’s Yeezus album as a whole. One track in particular was the top of the discussion with his Holy feature, the Lord himself. No, God did not walk the Earth just to hit up the studio with Yeezus. But in response to the critics’ opinion on including God in his song, he said “”When someone comes up and says something like, ‘I am a god,’ everybody says, ‘Who does he think he is?’ I just told you who I thought I was. A god. In reality, the song and God’s feature stemmed from a special invitation to an exclusive fashion show with a request that the hip-hop star not attend any other show of Paris’ Fashion Week.
