Everybody Plays the Fool
Last week, on the VH1 hit series Single Ladies while out on the night on the town, April meets David Barringer (who she ended up falling for) and started working for Felicia Price, who is the HBIC of the music industry.
She soon discovers that David works with her and has been working there for six years.
Keisha, Malcolm, and Terrance are in for a rude awakening as they find out that his father died and left him head of his estate.
They found out that he was married to a new woman named Naomi Cox, who work with his father.
After finding out that Eve is no longer her investor, Raquel does whatever it takes to find an investor for her boutique, Indulgence.
This week, Keisha shows Malcolm a picture of Naomi & Malcolm’s father while they were together. April tries to discover KeKe Palmer. And Raquel potentially finds an investor for Indulgence.
It’s the battle of the managers as April and David are both trying to sign KeKe Palmer to Felicia Price’s management company. Keisha trys to play nice when she runs into Naomi at the spa. Raquel continues to attempt to pitch Indulgence to Wyatt but he doesn’t seem a bit interested.
Raquel soon discovers that Wyatt went to high school with her and he started to tell her that she is still the same from high school by having things handed to her instead of working for it. She puts him in his place as she tells him that she graduated from Princeton and didn’t have anybody help her.
April finds out that KeKe ends up signing with David but she didn’t give up without a fight. She convinced KeKe to sign with her because they could relate to each other and ended up setting a showcase for her on the deal. April ended up winning in the battle against David.
While meeting with one of her potential investors at dinner, Raquel discovers that Terrance is meeting with a woman that sells necklaces and he leaves his necklace on her car.
Omar discovers that his sister Presley is engaged to her controlling boyfriend, Marcus, as she announces it while djing at a party.
It is the night of KeKe’s showcase, Felicia awards April with a check for bringing KeKe to her company. Raquel ends up tells Keisha that she is going to be working with Terrance. And David tries to have sex with April but she turns him down. The show was filled with some exciting scenes and we are looking forward to what is to come.
