Face: Moisturize your skin well before applying any type of product. If you have oily skin, you still need to moisturize. Try an oil control lotion; these offer you “dry moisture.” For extra glow, you can mix a loose shimmer powder, like MAC’s Iridescent Golden Bronze in with your lotion. You can also mix a small amount of liquid highlighter in if you have any. Elf makes some awesome Shimmering Facial Whips that are available for super cheap. Rihanna’s skin looks very dewy, so use a liquid or cream foundation; a powder will give you a matte look. Apply a highlighter, liquid, cream, or powder, to the high planes of the face: bridge of the nose, cheekbones, forehead. (Some amazing highlighters are MAC’s Gold Deposit & Silver Dusk, the ELF Shimmering Facial Whips, Benefit’s Sun Beam, and any of Fyrinnae’s.) Her cheeks are bronzed with only a light hint of color, so use a bronzer but be very, very, very, light handed with the blush. If you have a bronzer that has swirls of other colors in it, you can skip the blush all together.
