7. Cam’ron’s beef w/ Jay-Z
–Cam’ron kicked off his first rap beef with Jay-Z with the release of “You Gotta Love It (Jay-Z Diss)” off his Killa Season album. The beef between the two kicked off when Jay-Z was made CEO of Roc-A-Fella Records. Cam’ron went on to talk about Jay-Z’s age, his girlfriend at the time and his stealing of lyrics & flows. He accused Jay-Z of stealing Notorious B.I.G.’s rhymes and made another song entitled “Swagger Jacker (Biter Not a Writer)” to show all the songs Jay-Z took lines from.
