Sticky Fingers – The Rolling Stones
In the 70’s, the most raunchy album covers caused the most controversy. The Rolling Stones’ cover for their 1971 album was a Warhol-style picture of Mick Jagger’s zipper “stuck together”. Family-oriented record stores refused to sell it but it didn’t harm album sales.
