Good Hair – Outstanding Documentary
This took home the award for Outstanding Documentary in 2009. This is the one documentary that every woman could relate to and the inspiration behind the movie came from Chris Rock’s daughter who thinks she doesn’t have good hair. The documentary features interviews from Raven Symone, Eve, Salt & Pepa and many others. This also give African American women a look at themselves as they examined their own hair.
