In the first Subway Series since 1956, it’s only right that Jeter led the Yankees to World Series glory against the cross-town rival New York Mets. The biggest moment of the Series happened when Jeter hit a homer into the Shea Stadium stands on the first pitch of Game 4. Jeter finished the series with nine hits for 22 at bats and took home the MVP.
