It’s only right that two of the teams that departed the Big East are in the championship game for the brand new American Athletic Conference. Louisville took down Houston yesterday in the AAC semis with a 94-65 blowout, and UConn took down the #13 ranked Cincinnati Bearcats with a 58-56 victory.
We are going with Louisville in this one. Russ Smith is coming off of a 42 point game against Houston and Rick Pitino always seems to have his squad playing their best basketball this time of year. These two teams play fast and this game will be a good one.
