“Give me a fly beat and I’m all in it,” a simple line by Guru but more so a nod to one of the best producers in hip-hop. To put it simply, there are no words that can muster up the significance of this record. Starting off as a message to the watered down records on the radio, DJ Premier provided a track full of his DJ scratches and spins that embodied the ruggedness of the New York streets. Still a classic song that would get air time today.
