People’s opinion of Bret Hart varies with whom they place their allegiances. Having had one of the more controversial and tragic careers in professional wrestling, there is no denying his ability within the ring. The Hitman man’s legacy is one of perpetually overcoming adversity, being thieved of his WWF Championship in the 1997 “Montreal Screwjob” incident and two years later the death of his brother Owen Hart in a botched wrestling stunt. Even after retiring from the ring following a concussion obtained in 1999, Hart has continued to return periodically — even winning a championship in 2010.
