
10. Mick Foley (Mankind/Dude Love/Cactus Jack)
It is widely understood that wrestling, albeit scripted, is far from fake and is as physical as any other professional sport — and if you don’t believe that, ask Mick Foley. One needs only to watch the legendary Hell in a Cell bout between Mankind and Undertaker back in 1998. In a match that could have (and probably should have) costed Mick his life, Taker not only threw him 22 feet off the top of the Cell and through an announcers table, but then chokeslammed through the top of the chain-mesh above the cell. As if that weren’t enough he was slammed through a table cover with thumbtacks before receiving Taker’s Tombstone Piledriver to end the match. Mick Foley has lost several teeth, part of his ear, and broken nearly every bone is bottle once (and some twice) all for the love of the sport.
