Lumidee triumphed internationally with her one and only hit single “Never Leave You” in 2003 putting her own r&b spin on the already popular Diwali riddim. Even though “Never Leave You” debuted at #61 on Billboard Hot 100 it debuted at #3 in the UK. Lumidee’sn hit single gained her so much attention to the point where multiple major labels offered her deals. Eventually Lumidee signed to Universal Records leading up to her “Never Leave You” remix featuring Fabolous and Busta Rhymes.
