Watch EarthGang’s “The F Bomb” Video

There’s nothing terribly wrong with comparing a new Hip-Hop act to an already well established one, but I like to refrain from doing so for a myriad of reasons. Hell, I didn’t even consider the Action Bronson-Ghostface comparison until somebody mentioned it to me because to me, they’re two completely rappers. So I won’t list a bunch of rappers you love that EarthGang sounds like. They sound like what Hip-Hop should sound like–themselves. The Atlanta duo of Johnny Venus and Doctur Dot are part of the Hip-Hop scene in the South that refuses to neatly fit the confines of twerking club music and we thank them for that.

They recently released a video for the last track on their impressive project, Shallow Graves For Toys. It’s their crusade of indifference to the laws of mass media consumption and on it, they wave their flag high and proud. Other artists may assert their manifestos but few do it as uniquely and as entertaining as EarthGang.

You can buy your copy of Shallow Graves For Toys HERE. Don’t forget to get your EarthGang tees on your way out as well.
