Drake just cost his hometown team a few g’s
Drake & Friends put on a performance for the ages at OVO Fest, but the one guest that didn’t take the stage may have caused the most trouble. Kevin Durant, the Oklahoma City Thunder superstar forward, was backstage at the final day of OVO Fest, and as an ode to Durant becoming a free agent in the summer of 2016, Drake asked the entire crowd to make as much noise as they possibly could to give Durant a preview of the fanbase he would have in Toronto as a member of the Raptors. Needless to say, they went bananas, but the NBA wasn’t happy about that.
ESPN’s Marc Stein sent out this tweet earlier regarding the situation in question.
Hearing Raptors fined $25,000 for comments Drake made at a concert about Kevin Durant that were seen as violation of anti-tampering rules

Yikes. We think the Raptors will have no problem taking care of this for Drizzy considering the amount of eyes he’s brought to their campaign.
