Prez. Obama speaks on the events of this past weekend in Ferguson
This past weekend, a young, unarmed African-American male by the name of Michael Brown was shot several times by cops after allegedly shoplifting from a nearby store. The young man was reportedly not only unarmed, but he was surrendering, when police repeatedly shot him, ultimately killing him. Since then, the town of Ferguson, Missouri become something reminiscent of a war zone, as the intense tug of war between authorities and civilians has become frenzied, and looting and riots have become somewhat of a common occurrence in the 3 days that have followed the tragic incident.
