Listen To ScHoolboy Q’s “Studio” Remix, Featuring Nas

Nas has some big news

Finished up my new album
Single about to be droppin’
Last album on Def Jam
And I got so many options

ScHoolboy Q‘s debut album, Oxymoron, debuted at #1 on Billboard back in February, and one of the standout records, the Swiff D-produced, BJ The Chicago Kid-featured “Studio”, shot up to #10 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop charts, becoming the album’s most popular record. Today, we get the official remix, which features none other than Nas, one of Q’s favorite rappers. Nas kicks off the re-worked track with a brand new verse, letting everybody know that his new single and album is coming soon, and ScHoolboy Q brings in the rear with the original second verse of the record, which still sounds as good as the first time we heard it.

Nas has been teasing his new album for quite some time, but it appears that we might finally be getting some new Nasir during this 4th quarter and in early 2015. Late last summer, Timbaland teased at a Nas song, “Sinatra In The Sands”, that featured Jay Z and Justin Timberlake, produced by Timbo himself. While we’re not sure if that’ll be the official first single, new Nas music may mean records like that are on the horizon, a prospect we aren’t complaining about at all.
