Yet Another Prominent NFL Player Has Been Arrested For Domestic Violence. Jonathan Dwyer Booked For Two Separate Incidents

What. is. going. on. in. the. NFL

Ray Rice. Gregg Hardy. Ray Mcdonald. Adrian Peterson. These are a handful of the NFL players that have been arrested, accused or charged with either domestic or child abuse this year, and something tells us that it’s just the tip of the iceberg. Jonathan Dwyer, the Arizona Cardinals starting running back, has been arrested on suspicions of aggravated assault, and allegedly preventing someone from calling 911–this via a TMZ report. Roger Goodell hired a specialist to keep on top of all domestic violence accusations and investigations in the NFL earlier this week, after Ray Rice, Adrian Peterson and Gregg Hardy illuminated a huge and unfortunate trend in the league, and it appears said specialist will have their work cut out for them.

No word on what the NFL’s or the Cardinal’s plans are for the 25 year old running back, but we’ll update you as soon as we know.

Updated: The Police claim Dwyer was allegedly involved in two separate incidents, and a “fracture” to one of the victims (apparently his child is involved in the incident as well) occurred.
