Watch FunLyfe’s “Don’t Play” Video

Directed by: Itchy House Films

When I say FunLyfe, you think good times on a yacht with friends and family. Okay, maybe not family for some of you. But you may not think hockey masks, guns pointed at your dome, and a fight scene from the Warriors. Well that’s what the Newark, NJ group embodies in their new video. The group’s name is an acronym for Finding Universal Nature, Living Young For Ever. And they’ve come a long way to spread that message, as heard in “Don’t Play.” The wonderfully shot and edited video can be seen as an extended metaphor and a literal translation of the tough neighborhood these guys and girls grew up in, but have since overcome.

Part of FunLyfe culture is the Venture Brotherz Music group, which houses artists like RollingStone P and Aljuwon who were on “Don’t Play.” And the group is all about giving as they included a bonus track below with RollingStone P, Aljuwon, and BoBo.
